The main edge is a virtually continuous face of exceptionally clean and quick-drying rock of the highest quality up to 17m high. Both natural and quarried buttress exist, giving a variety of climbing styles, although the edge is home to some of the best slab climbing in the country.

A pleasant (for a quarry!) climbing ground with easy access and good 'crack' with the locals. Mostly good rock on the right side of vertical! Routes mainly VS and above approx 15 - 20m long.

A popular crag, unique for its slabby nature in a pleasant, shltered location. Most climbs are VS/HVS on good, sometimes polished rock, up to 35m high.
